Short Story

Hi readers!

My name is Jenny and I am a “recent” college graduate who moved back to her East Coast roots and set up shop in New York City. I say “recent” because technically I graduated in 2008, which means I have been living on my own in the big city for almost 3 years, but I still frequently reminisce about those amazing days back at my Big 10 Alma Mater….ah sigh…

Still life in New York has been a whole adventure in itself. I have two amazing roommates  and we live on a quiet street in Chelsea that has as much character as we do 🙂

I have an amazing family that lives in Connecticut, the Nutmeg State (get it..nutmegger is my creative way of represetning CT+ my love of baking! mwahaha)

Technically I work as a healthcare consultant, but I spend a good deal of time indulging in the things I love – photography, baking, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and spending QT with friends and family. Life in the big apple can be hard, but this is my attempt to try to stay balanced and happy – and document it all!

  1. Jenny, I have fallen in love with your blog! I am a true believer in documenting our experiences and this is such a great way to showcase the amazing little things (and at times big things) that you’ve done on a day-to-day basis. Keep it up girl!

  2. I just received my box of your oatmeal yummies. Thank you so much! It was really special that you make something from your childhood. Can’t wait to see the recipe!

  3. I love your pups! I’m a big animal crazy person…. I would love to be a vet, because that way I can see all my friends’ animals and call them “my patients!” 🙂
